Isms found in Ibn al-Bannāʼ

On this page I present all the isms I have found in Ibn al-Bannā’.
The first list is of isms used as personal names, that is, isms per se. The second list shows isms
I found only in kunyas. The third list is of
isms found only in nasabs.
The last list is of theophoric isms, which
duplicates names from the other lists. It is worth noting that in
addition to the standard "‘Abd al-____" theophoric names, I have
included ‘Ubaid Allāh and various names derived from it. This is
because ‘Ubaid(a) is the diminutive of ‘Abd; that is, ‘Ubaid Allāh
is "The little servant/slave of Allāh." I have also included two
names that, while they refer to Allāh, do not contain ‘Abd in any
form.
I show Abū Bakr as an ism, because it came, fairly early, to be
occasionally used as one. Note also there are six isms of the form
"al-____".
The few feminine isms in Ibn Bannāʼ are found only in "ʻisms per
se", and I have put them at the top of that list.
